Manchester United fans were quick to express their disappointment with Henrikh Mkhitaryan during their side’s 1-1 draw with Everton in the Premier League.
Mkhitaryan, who attracted criticism during Man United’s stalemate with West Bromwich Albion, was introduced with 25 minutes remaining as the home side desperately pressed for an equaliser.
The Armenian couldn’t make his presence felt against Ronald Koeman’s side, clearly struggling to make his technical prowess count in what was a furiously paced end to the game.
United fans didn’t hesitate when it came to criticising the 28-year-old for failing to make an impact during the latter stages.
Mkhitaryan doesnt look like hes even bothered, another absolute shocker from him

Pogba and Mkhitaryan did absolutely nothing because we're just going for long balls.

This was a game that demanded Mkhitaryan’s slick, mesmerising influence like almost never before. United had descended into more or less complete dysfunction against the Toffees: the midfield – Paul Pogba especially – lacked any clear purpose; neither Jesse Lingard or Marcus Rashford were getting in behind; Zlatan Ibrahimovic was a blunt instrument.
Mkhitaryan was thrown on to delve into the rubble and come out with a diamond, but only managed to enmesh himself in the mess his side had created, joining his teammates in producing little more than a number of nervy side passes and unsuccessful surges forward.
A night to forget and, more importantly, a wake up call ahead of United’s visit to the Stadium of Light.
