Manchester United fans were quick to dish out praise for Marouane Fellaini during their side’s 2-0 win over Chelsea in the Premier League.
And supporters, normally quick to chastise Fellaini, were instead full of accolades for the 29-year-old following what was a bombastic display alongside Paul Pogba.
If you were building the perfect footballer you would have Fellaini's chest control. It's absolutely incredible.

Massive game from Fellaini so far. Like watching the world's most skilful buffalo somehow miraculously playing football

And don't be afraid to say it, because we can all see it.
Fellaini has been excellent so far.

Fellaini’s purpose was clear: to bully Chelsea. And he did it, you could tell, with a sweeping sense of enjoyment. The reverse fixture saw the Belgian limp off at half-time after being harassed – and ultimately – kicked out of the contest at Stamford Bridge. Chelsea have been rambunctious towards everyone this season, impressively adept at taking the opponent down a few pegs.
This time around, however, they received a dose of their own medicine, with Fellaini acting as the brutish purveyor of some long overdue payback for the way he was grievously sidelined at Stamford Bridge back in October.
Chelsea could hardly get going at Old Trafford; 29-year-old’s constant harassment and burgeoning, hard-to-shift presence on the ball made the visitors, for perhaps the first time since September, feel small.
