Marcus Rashford has reacted to Manchester United’s massive 2-0 win over Chelsea in the Premier League on Sunday.
The 19-year-old, handed a rare opportunity to start in the No.9 role, took Antonio Conte’s men to pieces with a seemingly endless stream of powerful runs in behind.
Rashford set the tone for what was a dominant performance from the hosts with a wonderfully taken finish past Asmir Begovic after just seven minutes after being released by Ander Herrera.
He took to social media after the game to share his excitement with supporters following what was a fantastic performance.

This was more than three points against an established bogey side; this was, above anything, a blueprint for next season – an emphatic statement to Chelsea and Co that Jose Mourinho‘s men can reach the level of urgency and power required to beat anybody in this league.
And at the centre of that was Rashford: powerful, dynamic, bursting with confidence and, of course, scarily fast. Gary Cahill and David Luiz have seldom looked that uncomfortable all season.
Mourinho, therefore, has a conundrum on his hands. How does he utilise this unique – and, as Chelsea demonstrated, hard to pin-down – threat up front in conjunction with the guaranteed goals of Zlatan Ibrahimovic – assuming he stays – next season?
