The Belgian was sent out to Sunderland on loan last summer after failing to breach Jose Mourinho‘s first team but has failed to have the desired impact on Wearside.
It was recently reported that Mourinho, clearly dissatisfied with Januzaj’s progress this season, was willing to hear offers for the winger over the summer.
And according to Takvim, Fenerbahce are prepared to hand Januzaj a fresh chance ahead of the 2017/18 campaign.
You sense that, three and a half years on from his sensational breakthrough as a teenager, Januzaj’s time is up at Old Trafford.
That initial period of brilliance was supposed to be the start of a prolonged period of steady progression in the first team; the grim reality, however, is that the Belgian has nothing else to show for his Man United career aside from that brief stint of brightness from the start.
The most frustrating aspect of Januzaj as a player is that, as supporters have seen first hand, he does indeed posses an enormous amount of potential, but lacks the grit required to make it count at this level.
