Romero, 30, has been Man United’s first choice goalkeeper in the Europa League so far this season and his excellent form in the competition, which has seen United concede only one goal in five home games, sees him keep his place in the team.
Speaking ahead of the Anderlecht game at his press conference, Mourinho praised Romero as well as confirming his position in the starting XI.
"Sergio is very experienced, and he's playing really well."

Fair play to Romero. At the start of the year I hated the idea of him playing much for United because he filled me with fear but he’s worked and improved himself to become a brilliant second choice goalkeeper, arguably the best in England. It’s not usual for any club to have two top drawer goalkeepers in their ranks but in De Gea and Romero we’ve got exactly that.
Will Romero keep his place if United get all the way to the final? I’d be surprised if Mourinho dropped him for Stockholm but first things first we have to get past Anderlecht on Thursday.
