Ander Herrera was all smiles in training with Manchester United’s full squad ahead of their clash against Burnley on Sunday.
The Spaniard has been a vital player at Old Trafford this season, establishing himself as one of our most important players with the arrival of Jose Mourinho last summer.
Mourinho has already confirmed he will start against Burnley as he was one game away from suspension in the Europa League and spent the quarter-final second leg victory over Anderlecht on the bench.
Here’s a look at Herrera during training.
He was massively praised for his impressive performance against Chelsea, where he picked up a Man of the Match award for an assist, a goal and marking Eden Hazard out of the game.
Even against Anderlecht where he started on the bench many believed we wouldn’t see him in action but the team looked so much better with him on the pitch as he helps control the ball and free up other members of the squad for them to perform their role with ease.
Herrera has been irreplaceable and hopes are he’s able to stay fit as there aren’t many players in the team that can fill his shoes.
