He’s attracted the attention of European sides as he’s dreaming of a big transfer and playing at Old Trafford.
The 22-year-old has enjoyed a breakthrough season for his side America de Cali following their promotion to Categoria Primera A and is still unsure if he’ll make a summer move.
When asked about a potential move in the summer window, Lucumi claims he’s hoping to play in Europe.
“My dream is to go to play for Manchester United and with God’s help I’ll achieve it,” he said.
“I follow Rooney, I watched him since I was very young.
“Now I like very much how Lingard plays.
“Will I leave this summer? I do not know anything about that.
“I hope to continue working hard to fulfil one of my dreams and that is to go to play in Europe.”
Mourinho is set to bolster his attacking options in the summer transfer window with Zlatan Ibrahimovic set to be sidelined for up to 12 months with his recent knee injury.
Although Lucumi has admitted he’d love to play at Old Trafford, it still remains to be seen whether a deal would actually go through as United have already been linked with the likes of Romelu Lukaku and Antoine Griezmann.
