Barcelona are interested in a move for Manchester United midfielder Ander Herrera following his impressive form under Jose Mourinho, according to reports in Spain.

He has kickstarted his career at Old Trafford after Mourinho’s arrival last summer and has been able to cement his place in the side as one of our best players.

Herrera has really taken to his new role and Barcelona chiefs allegedly believe he could be a replacement for Andres Iniesta as he fits the club’s style of play and will impress at the Nou Camp

Supporters witnessed just how important he’s been this season as United came up against Chelsea with the Spaniard picking up the Man of the Match award for scoring a goal, registering an assist and marking Eden Hazard out of the entire game.

He’s clearly enjoyed his football under Mourinho this season as the Portuguese boss has instilled a belief in him which no manager has previously, earning him his first cap for the Spanish squad.

Herrera is appreciating football at United and is alongside his good friends Juan Mata and David de Gea, which is why it’ll be hard to lure him with a move away, especially at this point his career.
