Manchester United fans were full of praise for Anthony Martial‘s performance against Swansea City in spite of seeing their side draw 1-1 with the Welsh side.
The Frenchman, making his third consecutive Premier League start, pestered Swansea’s back four all afternoon and kept Lukasz Fabiański on his toes with a lively, dedicated performance.
Man United fans, even in the midst of seeing their side draw yet another home game, were quick to note that Martial, once again, applied himself admirably on the left flank.
Shades of a 2015-16 United performance so far. #mufc lifeless apart from Rashford and Martial.

Martial has spent the majority of this season with a sullen, almost icy countenance. Life under Jose Mourinho hasn’t been easy for the youngster; he has had to demonstrate, all over again, that he can indeed flourish at this level.
And following strong, notably dedicated displays against Burnley and Manchester City, the 20-year-old took to the field against Swansea with a palpable sense of determination and fearlessness. He threw himself at Kyle Naughton at every possible opportunity, gliding one way and then the other in an attempt to inject life into an otherwise languid attacking display from the home side.
He has the bit between his teeth, and supporters will just pray he remains fit as Mourinho’s injury list continues to grow at an alarming rate.
