Owen Hargreaves has urged Jose Mourinho to sign Paulo Dybala over Antoine Griezmann at Manchester United this summer.
The side have been heavily linked with a move for Griezmann as he’s allegedly Mourinho’s number one summer transfer target, with increasing speculation over his future at Atletico Madrid.
However, Hargreaves has urged Mourinho to look elsewhere and bolster his attacking options with the acquisition of Juventus talisman Dybala.
Speaking about a potential move, Hargreaves claims Dybala would be a magnificent signing at United.
“You have to look at what you have and what you desperately need,” he said.
“I think they need a Dybala-type player.
“Everybody speaks about Griezmann, I think Griezmann would be terrific.
“But I think Dybala, he’s a little bit younger, he’s going to be a superstar if he isn’t already.
“He would be magnificent.
“That star power that Ibra (Zlatan Ibrahimovic) bought, I think Dybala could bring that as well.”
Dybala has been heavily linked a move to Real Madrid and Barcelona in recent times and following an incredible season for Juve, finding 17 goals in all competitions, there are doubts a move would be possible, especially after they let Paul Pogba leave last summer.
