There were fears over whether they’d be back in time for the Celta Vigo clash as Jose Mourinho is currently facing an injury crisis at Old Trafford.
However, the trio were back in action at Carrington and it’s a great sign ahead of the Europa League semi-final clash on Thursday.

The side face a busy schedule of fixtures and the lack of players would have been a big problem for Mourinho, as he wouldn’t have had the ability to rotate players across both competitions, which ultimately leads to more injuries and setbacks.
Mourinho previously urged Smalling and Jones to make themselves available and to be brave, and then sent a sly dig to them, claiming they should be more like Juan Mata, who has done everything possible to make himself available, but it’s great to have them back.
It’s better to ensure they’re ready to return rather than rushing them back into action and Mourinho will undoubtedly be pleased.
