Manchester United fans were impressed with Marouane Fellaini‘s performance against Celta Vigo in the Europa League second-leg clash at Old Trafford.

The Belgium international found a back-post header to give Man United a 1-0 lead Thursday night, which at the time meant a 2-0 lead on aggregate, following Marcus Rashford‘s brilliant free-kick in Spain last week.

His goal now means that he’s scored for Man United Europa League, FA Cup and EFL Cup semi-finals, playing a vital role underneath Jose Mourinho this season.

Here’s what fans on social media had to say about his performance.

He’s now in his fourth season at Man United and it’s hard to believe as he’s been written off many times since his David Moyes signed him from Everton, especially when he was booed by fans earlier in the campaign.

He splits opinions at Old Trafford and it’s not even down the middle as many supporters have used him as a scapegoat for the side’s disappointing results and things only got worse after his recent red card against Manchester City.

However, he’s proven that he’s willing to listen to Mourinho and his instructions, something the Portuguese boss loves and is one of the reasons we see the Belgian in action so often.
