Gareth Bale is willing to move to Manchester United in the summer if Real Madrid sell him, according to the Independent
His links with Man United over the past few years have been well-documented as the Old Trafford hierarchy have been keen on completing a deal for the Welshman.
Jose Mourinho‘s preference for a marquee signing this summer is said to be Atletico Madrid’s Antoine Griezmann, however Miguel Delaney claims Bale’s move to Old Trafford is much likelier than any point in his time at the Bernabeu.
Officials have been working hard to deliver Mourinho’s key signings ahead of next season as the side have been heavily linked with moves for Griezmann, Torino’s Andrea Belotti, Burnley’s Michael Keane and many other targets.
With Griezmann’s future under Diego Simeone uncertain, Mourinho will want to keep his options open and will be looking at different alternative options as we get closer to the end of the season.
Real president Florentino Perez would be reluctant to let go of Bale even though many believe Zinedine Zidane’s team has worked better since Bale got injured in the 3-2 defeat to Barcelona on 23 April, with Isco appearing to have more of a role in the side.
