Manchester United make an enquiry to sign Tiemoue Bakayoko – report

Manchester United have made an enquiry to sign Tiemoue Bakayoko in the summer transfer window, according to the Daily Mail.

He’s expected to move Stamford Bridge as Antonio Conte prepares a £40million offer for the 22-year-old, however, Man United, Liverpool and Paris St Germain have all made enquiries about his availability.

Monaco have a busy summer ahead with the likes of Bernardo Silva, Fabinho and Kylian Mbappe also picking up interest from Europe’s elite.

The Frenchman could potentially move to Old Trafford should he fail to reach an agreement with Chelsea, but Mourinho faces stiff competition for his signature.

Monaco have allegedly lined up Youri Tielemans from Anderlecht as a replacement for Bakayoko but they’ll be trying hard not to let him leave as many of the squad have been linked with summer exits.

Mourinho will be looking to bolster his options this summer and United have already been linked with the top names in football before the summer transfer window has even opened.

He signed the likes of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Eric Bailly and Paul Pogba without Champions League football to offer last summer but with the side in the Europa League final, the Portuguese boss should have no issues in signing the best players should United win.
