Andreas Pereira was spotted watching his teammates claim a 2-0 win over Crystal Palace soon after returning from his loan spell at Granada.
The Brazilian was sent out on loan to the La Liga side back in August and, in spite of what was a calamitous season for Granada, duly impressed with a string of confident, energetic performances.
He made 35 La Liga appearances in total, scoring five goals, and will now re-join the Manchester United squad ahead of pre-season.
And the youngster was seen alongside Juan Mata, rested ahead of the Europa League final, as nine academy players featured in a comfortable 2-0 win.
Yesterday must have been quite strange for Pereira: there he was, following nine months of suffering defeat after defeat in Spain, watching various friends from the reserve team cruise to victory in the Premier League.
A lot has happened at this club since he left for Granada, but he will feel far closer to a place in the first team than when he departed last August following a spell in La Liga that, in spite of being dramatically unsuccessful for the club itself, has seen him grow in stature as a footballer and indeed as a professional.
