Antoine Griezmann has confirmed he’s ready to leave Atletico Madrid in the summer transfer window as he looks to continue winning trophies.
He has suggested there are a few options on the table as he considers his future and talking on Monday, Griezmann claims there is a six out chance of him moving to Old Trafford.
Man United are prepared to trigger his €100m release clause although Jose Mourinho would face competition for his services with the Frenchman attracting interest from Europe’s elite.
Speaking about a potential move, Griezmann claims he could play anywhere in the world if he had to move.
“Today if I have to move it will be no problem,” he confirmed.
“It may be England because it is fashionable, Germany, China and the United States. I’m ready to go.
“With Atletico it remains on a final and a semi-final of the Champions League, we’re close, but we lack something.
“I love football and I want to win trophies. I want to live these strong emotions. This time I want to taste this.
“I want to win trophies. Playing a good game and scoring goals is not enough anymore. That’s it. Winning titles is what I will look for this summer when deciding on my future.”
United will look to secure their place in next season’s Champions League by winning the Europa League final against Ajax and Griezmann could be waiting before he announces his intentions.
He hinted he wanted to join a club that will win trophies and after months of speculation, it seems a summer move could be on the cards as he revealed a decision will be made in the next two weeks.
