Paul Pogba has dropped a hint over Antoine Griezmann’s potential move to Manchester United over the summer, noting during an Instagram live video that the Frenchman wasn’t on the team bus yet.
The 25-year-old, previously coy when it came to questions about Man United, recently dropped his biggest hint yet when he noted that there was a “6/10 chance” of him moving to Old Trafford.
Spanish football expert Guillem Balague recently noted that Griezmann would only consider a move to United if they qualified for next season’s Champions League.
And Pogba, during a highly entertaining Instagram live video soon after winning – and scoring in – the Europa League final, cheekily noted that his French teammate was not on the bus ‘yet.
The 24-year-old, at one point, even brought out Griezmann’s renowned telephone celebration before knowingly looking back at the camera and cheekily asking supporters “who is that?”
You simply cannot hate Pogba. You can criticise his style if you want, though there would be little evidence to back up any criticism from last night’s performance, but you can never deny that the 24-year-old knows, better than most people, how to enjoy life to the max.
This may have been nothing more than an episode of cheeky drunken chat (how strange and weirdly nice was it to see United players getting suitably intoxicated), but the relationship between Griezmann and Pogba is well renowned and could be one of the main reasons behind why the striker opts for a move to Old Trafford over the summer.
