Speaking about the Englishman, Pogba claims he deserves everything following an incredible playing career.
“He deserves everything. He’s had a great career,” he said.
“Someone who helps the players, who talks to the players, to the young guys.
“Like I say, he’s a legend.”
The trophy is his 16th piece of major silverware across both domestic and international competitions at club level and it would have been a brilliant way to see out his career at United.
Rooney has been incredible at United and if he chooses to leave this summer, he’ll always be a legend at the club for his spectacular contribution, even though it seems like an exit is more likely, especially after his recent snub from the England squad.
