Antoine Griezmann has opened up about his future at Atletico Madrid, after recently claiming a move to Manchester United was a possibility.
He claimed there was a six out of 10 chance he would make the move to Old Trafford as he’s prepared to leave Atletico and win silverware.
When asked about speculation, Jose Mourinho refused to comment on the situation as it would be disrespectful to Atletico, however after qualifying for the Champions League, there’s a good chance we could see him in a United shirt.
Speaking about a potential move, Griezmann insists he’s very happy after a great year.
“It’s been a great year and I hope I can get better every year and win trophies with this team,” he said. “I will do everything possible.”
“We are very happy. We reached our objective, we maybe wanted more, but it could not be. We achieved the objective. We have new goals for next year.”
Even if he was making the move, Griezmann would not come out and reveal his plans as he’s already confirmed the decision will be announced in two weeks.
He’ll be joining up with the France squad ahead of facing England in a friendly in June, with games against Paraguay and Sweden to follow, and good-friend Paul Pogba should be convincing him to make the switch, after teasing on Instagram, claiming Griezmann hasn’t made the move, yet.
