Antoine Griezmann has denied there is already an agreement in place for him to join Manchester United this summer.
Griezmann is widely considered Man United’s No.1 transfer target this summer and the player himself has helped fuel rumours this week after saying it was a ‘6 out of 10’ chance he would be joining Man United.
However, addressing fans on Twitter, Griezmann made it clear he is still an Atletico Madrid player at the moment and says his future will be resolved after discussing it with his agent.
“All the rumours are unfounded,” he wrote. “I’m still Colchonero. My direction will be established after discussion with my sporting advisor.”
Toutes les rumeurs sont infondées, je suis toujours Colchonero. Mon orientation sera etablie apres discussion avec mon Conseiller Sportif

Speaking this week, Griezmann said he wanted his future to be finalised within the next two weeks so while there may not be an agreement in place at the moment it is more than likely going to be sorted sooner rather than later. That’s something United fans are certainly all hoping for because nobody wants to see another summer transfer saga like Paul Pogba was.
Manchester City have already made a real statement by completing the signing of Bernardo Silva but here’s hoping United can secure Griezmann. If we do, it will arguably be the marquee signing of the summer.
