Paul Pogba drops hint over Antoine Griezmann’s future

Paul Pogba has dropped another hint over a potential move to Manchester United for Antoine Griezmann.

Spanish football expert Guillem Balague recently confirmed that the 25-year-old Atletico Madrid striker would consider a move to Old Trafford if Jose Mourinho secured Champions League football for next season.

Pogba, soon after Man United’s Europa League triumph last week, teased supporters by pulling out Griezmann’s trademark celebration before gesturing towards “next season”.

And the Frenchman has been at it again, this time imploring supporters to “watch this space” when asked about playing with Griezmann next season.

The exact words Pogba used were “affaire a suivre”, which can roughly translate to “watch this space”, as well as “business to follow” and “stay tuned”.

Either way, the 24-year-old, a very close friend of Griezmann (or ‘Gringuito’, as he calls him), clearly knows something that the world’s media – as of now, at least – don’t know, or simply cannot disclose.

The two have been remarkably close ever since bearing the brunt of criticism from the French media during the early stages of Euro 2016 and you sense that Griezmann has informed Pogba of his desire to wear the No.7 shirt – just like David Beckham, his childhood hero – at Old Trafford next season.
