Andreas Pereira will have a chance to impress at Manchester United – report

Andreas Pereira will have a chance to win a place in the first-team at Manchester United this season under Jose Mourinho, according to ESPN.

The 21-year-old spent last season on loan at Spanish club Granada and has massively impressed in La Liga, which is why the Portuguese boss is ready to offer him a place at Old Trafford.

Although he saw his get relegated, Pereira scored five goals in 37 games for them and was a regular in the squad, proving he has the ability to perform even when his team-mates aren’t.

He is expected at Carrington training ground on July 8 ahead of the preseason tour of the United States and was back to see the last game of the season against Crystal Palace.

There’s a good chance that we’ll see him in action for the games against LA Galaxy, Real Salt Lake, Manchester City, Real Madrid and Barcelona before a definite decision is made over his career.

He was in regular contact with Mourinho and assistant Rui Faria during his loan spell and hopes are he gets a proper chance of proving himself at United because he’s clearly an extremely talented player.
