Angel Gomes is looking forward to next season at Manchester Untied after he became the first Premier League footballer to be born this millennium.
He made his debut against Crystal Palace at the age of 16 years and 263 days old after he replaced Wayne Rooney and it’s a dream come true for the youngster.
The Englishman has been at the club since the age of six and has continued to work through the ranks, he’s also the youngest-ever winner of the Jimmy Murphy Youth Team Player of the Year trophy.
Speaking of his time at the club, Gomes claims it’s been a season to remember.

He’s a huge talent for the future and is massively versatile although he plays in the number 10 position, he has often played ahead of his own age group following his impressive performances but he’s still been able to stand out.
Gomes is still a first-year scholar and although it’ll still be a while until we see him pick up regular firs-team game time, I’m sure we’ll all be keeping tabs on his progress.
Mourinho is clearly impressed and it’s a step in the right direction as he looks to make a mark at United.
