An Atletico Madrid spokesperson has denied news that Antoine Griezmann has asked to leave in the summer transfer window.
The Frenchman has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester United as he claimed there was a six out of 10 chance of him arriving at Old Trafford as he’s prepared to leave Atletico to fight for silverware.
Man United’s chances of signing Griezmann seemed to be boosted as multiple sources had reported that Griezmann had asked to leave this summer, however, a club official has denied such reports.

Griezmann claimed a decision should be confirmed within the next week as he looks to announce his future and United will want to acquire his services before the end of June to avoid a summer transfer saga.
Mourinho has said that he handed Ed Woodward a transfer list almost two months ago and is hoping that the executive vice chairman will be able to meet his demands as he goes on holiday to take his mind off football after an exhausting campaign.
There’s no doubt Griezmann would be an incredible addition at Old Trafford and with United said to be ready to pay his release clause, we could see him line-up alongside good friends Paul Pogba and Anthony Martial next season.
