Spanish football expert Guillem Balague has confirmed that Manchester United have contacted Real Madrid over a potential deal for striker Alvaro Morata.
Jose Mourinho has placed emphasis on securing an all-out striker this summer amid uncertainty surrounding Zlatan Ibrahimovic‘s future, abandoning his pursuit of Antoine Griezmann – who primarily figured as a No.10 last season – as a result.
And according to Balague, Man United have already mace contact with the Spanish side with regard to the 24-year-old.
Lovely gesture of ZZ with Morata who might be playing his last game for RM. MUFC would love to sign him and has contacted Real already

It is indeed worth interrogating why Zidane, with his side moments away from another Champions League win, chose to give Morata a chance to absorb, perhaps for the last time, a rapturous acclaim from the Madrid faithful.
The Spaniard may be aware of his manager’s plans to instil another striker over the window – or perhaps simply a vision for next season that leaves him on the periphery – that makes departure from the Bernabeu a logical necessity.
Questions can be raised over splashing out on somebody with just 44 starts in four seasons, but Morata, even at a relatively young age, has shown an appetite for big games that Mourinho clearly admires.
