Manchester United are expected to complete their first signing of the transfer window next week, according to reports.
Portuguese newspaper Record claim Victor Lindelof will have a medical at Carrington on Wednesday ahead of a potential £35million move.
Lindelof is currently on international duty with Sweden which is why a deal is expected to advance once he has finished international commitments and is ready to complete a move.
Just like Eric Bailly‘s move last summer, Lindelof could be the first of Mourinho’s signings as he’s also been linked with the likes of Alvaro Morata, Andrea Belotti, James Rodriguez and Ivan Perisic.
There have been other names that have been linked with Old Trafford moves but it doesn’t seem like those deals have materialised yet past the point of speculation.
Lindelof could be a solid player at United and is exactly the type of player the club desperately needed this season, especially with the previous injury crisis at the back.
