Alvaro Morata all but confirmed his Manchester United transfer this summer after his recent Instagram activity.
Usually when a player likes social media posts it doesn’t mean anything, however, the Spaniard has recently liked the post of a Man United fan page which talked about his summer transfer to Old Trafford.
A deal is said to be worth around €70 million as he is expected to sign a 4-year-contract at Man United to lead the line next season.
Here’s a look at the post that convinced fans he would be joining this summer.
He started his career at Real Madrid and after spells at both the Atletico and Getafe academies was sold to Juventus in 2014, he then returned to Real in 2016 but has found cementing a regular place in the first-team difficult.
It seems he could now look to turn his career around at United and take over from Zlatan Ibrahimovic with the Big Swede recently released from the club.
He’s still only 24 and has plenty of time ahead to become a top player at Old Trafford, he’ll get the run of games he deserves from the manager who knows him best as the Portuguese boss previously gave him his debut at Real in 2010.
