Monaco midfielder Fabinho has chosen Manchester United as his first-choice destination this summer, according to reports.
He played a vital role in Monaco’s successful season as they beat Paris Saint-Germain to the Ligue 1 title, and helped the side progress into the semi-final of the Champions League.
O Jogo claim Fabinho is keen to leave the club this summer and would prefer a move to Old Trafford ahead of any other club.
Reports suggested Mourinho had ruled out a move for him this summer, however, a transfer is expected to be completed at a later date as he’s currently on holiday.
He’s been linked with a move to Europe’s elite, but it seems like Mourinho has gotten in early and completed his summer business early as he looks to overhaul the squad.
Fabinho is an incredibly versatile player and has featured as an attacking right-back for Monaco but has successfully been converted into a defensive midfielder.
It’s clear he’s got an unbelievable amount of talent and a move is still on the cards even though Gianluca Di Marzio’s camp claimed there had been no talks between both parties in the last 5 weeks as he’s been on holiday.
