Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford hasn’t been wasting any time as he looks to impress Jose Mourinho by starting his pre-season training ahead of the new season.

Instead of being part of the England Under 21’s squad in the semi finals of the European Championship in Poland, he was handed the summer off by the Portuguese boss.

He’s been having a blast in the sun as he continues to recover from a gruelling season at Old Trafford but stepped up his personal training regime in the heat of Portland.

He shared a video on Instagram of himself doing shuttle runs in the sun.

He made 53 appearances across all competitions but only found the back of the net 11 times as he was used out on the wing for the majority of the season, and he’ll look to up his game this year after taking over from Zlatan Ibrahimovic upfront.

The Englishman is working hard before a return to Carrington next month and was even pictured with Brazil and Barcelona legend Ronaldinho.

Rashford blossomed again under Mourinho last season and it’s only set to get better from here as he looks to build on his fantastic career as a United player.
