However, reports from France, now say PSG have taken the front foot and agreed personal terms with Fabinho and Pepe.

This week Man United fans have been up in arms after PSG jumped into the mix with Fabinho because everybody was desperate for Jose Mourinho to sign the 23-year-old but having delayed our approaches, we allowed PSG to make their own advances and they are now a step ahead according to Canal Plus.
I thought these sorts of issues were behind us in the transfer window, that they were left behind with Louis van Gaal and David Moyes. Last summer we were fantastic in the summer window, apart from the unavoidable circus around Paul Pogba, yet now we’ve taken a step backwards.
Yes it is early in the transfer window but Fabinho is an ideal signing who would dramatically improve our midfield and we’ve been interested in him for some time. If Mourinho truly wanted to bring him in, we should have pushed it quicker instead of dithering. Now it looks like PSG have taken advantage of that.
