Manchester United target Renato Sanches has expressed a desire to leave Bayern Munich in search of more game time, according to reports.
And the youngster has dramatically struggled for minutes this season, managing just two starts under Carlo Ancelloti since the turn of the year.
According to Calcio Mercato‘s Nicola Balice, the 20-year-old has decided to leave the Allianz Arena this summer in order to receive more game time.
The Portuguese, speaking in a recent interview, made it clear that he wanted to play more but hinted towards staying with the German champions, clearly determined to impose himself on the starting XI in a way he couldn’t during his first year.
But with Bayern dropping their initial £30.5m valuation of the youngster to £23m this month, it doesn’t look like Ancelloti is too keen on giving him much of a chance next season. In fact, such a drop could signal an invitation to other clubs to make a bid this summer – something Mourinho, given his past comments, would clearly want to do.
