Ivan Perisic has given his agent the go-ahead to force through a move to Manchester United this summer, according to reports.
Man United would like to sign him for around €30 million even though Inter Milan are set to meet Financial Fair Play requirements, as he’s now valued at €45m.
Inter believed that raising his asking price would throw off any clubs interested in his services as a number of smaller deals have raised the €30m they needed by the June 30 deadline to stave off sanctions by UEFA.
However, it seems a move could still go through as the Croatian could yet force Inter into a corner by demanding a move with United lurking on the sidelines.
He’s keen to test himself in the Premier League and even switched agents during the 2016-17 season after he was left disappointed with his former agent Tonci Martic’s attempts to bring forward a move to England.
His new negotiator Fali Ramadan has allegedly been given the orders to make a move happen this summer, which will give United the upper hand when it comes to negotiating a transfer fee.
Perisic has been left disappointed by Inter’s lack of progress and it seems a move could be on the cards as he looks for a team capable of winning silverware.
