Carlo Ancelotti has slammed Robert Lewandowski’s agent for talking too much as he’s been heavily linked with a Bayern Munich exit.
He’s enjoyed his best ever goalscoring campaign under Ancelotti last campaign, as he scored 43 goals, making Bayern the first team to win five consecutive Bundesliga titles.
The Poland international signed a new five-year deal in December but his agent, Maik Barthel, highlighted Ancelotti and Lewandowski’s team-mates lack of support as he hoped to win the Golden Boot.
Speaking about a potential move, Ancelotti was not worried about a transfer.
“Lewandowski has never complained to me, I finally congratulated him on his good season,” he said.
“I was satisfied with him and he was pleased with us.
“As always there are agents who talk too much – I do not know why.
“It is not the first time an agent has used the newspapers to say something wrong, that’s all. In a perfect world, agents do not talk.”
He’s an incredible striker with 110 goals in 147 games since joining Bayern in 2014 and if there was any chance of him leaving, every club with the funds available would be interested in signing him.
