Manchester United target Ivan Perisic has teased supporters by posting a photo of himself at an airport ahead of flying to an ‘unknown destination’.
Inter Milan have been fiercely robust in negotiations with Man United and held firm on their £50m valuation of the 29-year-old winger over June.
However, Perisic has refused a new contract at the San Siro in order to force through a move and recently entered talks with newly appointed manager Luciano Spalletti over his future.
And the Croat posted this Instagram story to leave both United and Inter supporters firmly on their toes.

United have been complacent in their negotiations for Perisic up to this point. They assumed that offering just over £26m – the amount Inter needed to meet Financial Fair Play regulations by July 1 – would have eventually forced their hand, but the Italians were able to meet parity with FFP without letting the winger leave for cheap.
Backed by wealthy Chinese investors and a new manager, the Nerazzurri are clearly hellbent on reasserting themselves in Serie A, and it will take a handsome offer to prize one of their most valuable assets away as pre-season kicks off.
Mourinho needs a player like Perisic, somebody who will reach the byline and deliver pin-point crosses, especially with Romelu Lukaku – an intelligent, rumbustious poacher – now leading the line at Old Trafford.
