Manchester United have agreed a fee of around £9.8m with Real Sociedad for Adnan Januzaj, according to the BBC.

The 22-year-old was told to find another club this summer by Jose Mourinho as he was left out of the pre-season tour of the United States.

He recently returned to Old Trafford after an unsuccessful campaign on loan at Sunderland and it set for a medical on Wednesday.

Januzaj joined United from Anderlecht when he was 16 and broke into the first team in 2013 during David Moyes’ time at the club.

However, after failed loan spells at Borussia Dortmund and Sunderland, it seems his career at the club is set to come to an end after he was backed to become one of the best.

Many believed he’d be the next big thing at United which is why he took over Ryan Giggs’ number 11 shirt, but he won’t even be able to finish out his contract which expires in 2018.

Real Sociedad finished sixth in La Liga last season and will compete in the Europa League this year as Januzaj hopes to re-find his best form.

He’s fallen to the bottom of the pecking order at United and it’s about time he leaves and as he hopes to get his career back on the right track.
