Inter Milan director, Piero Ausilio, has confirmed the club have not considered any bids Manchester United have currently offered for Ivan Perisic.
There have been a wave of reports linking him with a move to Old Trafford this summer, however, the one thing which has remained consistent is the €55m asking price.
Man United were hoping secure his services on a cheap as Inter were hoping to comply with Financial Fair Play regulations but managed to raise the funds with a number of smaller deals and are not budging to meet closer to Man United’s valuation of around €45m.
Speaking about a potential deal, Ausilio was quick to cut down any move.
“It’s not happening. Perisic is training with us and so far we have not taken into consideration anything that Manchester United have offered us,” he said.
Man United were hoping a deal would be completed earlier in the summer to avoid a transfer saga, especially as Mourinho wanted all of his players on the pre-season tour to get them ready for the new season.
However, with Inter playing hardball over a fee for Perisic, it seems like there’s plenty left to do to get a deal over the line.
