The trio are currently ruled out of action but have been shown impressive dedication to make themselves available for Jose Mourinho.
Shaw isn’t even expected to be fit for our first game of the season against West Ham, however, after impressing staff at Carrington and training during his time off, has earned the backing of Jose Mourinho and is now going to be given the opportunity to make the left-back role his own.
Speaking about the squad, Bojan Djordjic has praised the players for the work they’ve been putting in.
“Being injured is not easy. We are here in Los Angeles, the weather is great, everybody else is having sharp, intense sessions, they are getting fit and you have to do your running, the rehab and think about everything else,” he told manutd.com.
“It is easy to have negative thoughts but you have to fight them off and prove to Jose that you want to be part of this team. Because this team is going to be much, much better this season, especially with the additions of Victor Lindelof and Romelu Lukaku.
“Our three injured players – Rojo, Shaw and Young – are all showing impressive dedication and that is a good sign.”
They’ve all been working exceptionally hard and it just showcases the impact Mourinho has on the players, as they’re all trying their best to make themselves available.
