Inter Milan technical director, Walter Sabatini, has confirmed there have been no suitable offers for Ivan Perisic from Manchester United yet.
He has been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford this summer as the Portuguese boss hoped to sign him on a cheap while Inter were looking to comply with Financial Fair Play regulations, but after raising the funds through smaller deals, they are hoping to keep hold of their star asset.
Inter Milan are asking for €55 million which Man United have been unwilling to match, which is the main reason why he has joined the Italian side on their pre-season tour of China, rather than jetting out to America.
Speaking about the situation, Sabatini revealed the stance on a current transfer.
“What is this, a conspiracy?” Sabatini said.
“You all know what we want, but the offer has not yet arrived.”
Ed Woodward delayed his flight to America as he hopes to wrap up deals for Man United’s last two signings this summer and with the side sat just €5m away from the Perisic valuation, there’s no doubt a deal will be completed soon.
Mourinho has been disappointed with the lack of progress on transfers this season and although he won’t be part of the pre-season tour of America, a deal is expected to be completed.
