Both sides have struggled to reach a deal for Perisic as Man United are unwilling to match the £45m valuation set by the Serie A team.
Talks have stalled as a result and although the deal is not dead, Inter have asked to take Martial on loan in an attempt to find a solution.
However, what they do not realise is Martial is worth a lot of money and even though he has not always reached his potential, it would be ludicrous to think Man United would let him leave, even if it is only for a year.
Wolfsburg have also made an inquiry about the Frenchman as he has struggled in recent times with just four goals in 25 Premier League appearances.
On the other hand, Perisic played 84 minutes of Inter’s 2-0 win over Bayern, claiming an assist as he set up Eder, and scored 11 goals and provided eight assists in 36 Serie A games for Inter last season.
Inter don’t have European football after their disappointing seventh place finish, and now United have Champions League football to offer, it could be a different story.
