Nemanja Matic has been pictured in good spirits at Carrington during his first training session as a Manchester United player.
The Serb, who has claimed two titles with Chelsea since arriving in 2014, completed a £40m move to Old Trafford on Monday, signing a three year contract.
Here are some photos of the 29-year-old going through the paces during a training session ahead of Wednesday’s clash with Sampdoria in Dublin.

With the instinctive joy mixed with relief at seeing United *finally* sign a holding midfielder now wearing off, attention turns towards whether Matic will play in Dublin.
He was not handed a place on Chelsea’s pre-season tour for obvious reasons and therefore finds himself bereft of any minutes at all with less than two weeks to go until the Premier League starts and just a week until the UEFA Super Cup clash with Real Madrid in Macedonia.
The Serb will not be anywhere near the level of fitness reached by the rest of the squad during their lengthy stay in sunny California, but that serves as a perfect reason why Mourinho ought to throw him in from the start against the Italian side.
