Manchester United have dismissed claims they have agreed a deal for Paris Saint-Germain defender Serge Aurier, according to Sky Sports.
Reports suggested Man United would pay £27m for the Ivory Coast international’s services despite his ban from entering the UK.
He was found guilty of assaulting a police officer outside a Paris nightclub in September last year and Sky Sports claim Man United are not interested in his services.
They also insist Man United are not actively pursuing any other targets so far as they need to offload some players before allowing any other arrivals.
Man United have wrapped up the signing of Nemanja Matic from Chelsea on Monday, but have been left frustrated in the hopes of securing a deal for Inter Milan winger Ivan Perisic.
Although Jose Mourinho’s side were close to agreeing to a deal for Perisic, Inter have stuck their feet in the ground, holding out for a £48m transfer fee or a deal that would see Anthony Martial head to the Serie A club.
Perisic has impressed on Inter’s tour of China, and boss Luciano Spalletti has confirmed he will not be sold unless their fee expectations were met.
