Uefa announced the players were on a three-man shortlist as the received the most points from a panel of coaches and journalists.
The award will be presented to the winner during the Europa League group stage draw in Monaco on August 25.
They helped Man United win the trophy and secure Champions League football for this season, with Mkhitaryan and Pogba scoring in the final against Ajax in Stockholm.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored five goals before suffering a serious knee injury against Anderlecht in the quarter-final.
Mkhitaryan managed six goals in the competition and Pogba started all 15 of Jose Mourinho‘s side’s UEFA Europa League fixtures.
They were all vital players at Old Trafford last season and although Ibrahimovic is no longer at the club, Mourinho has publically stated that he hopes the big Swede returns once he’s fully fit.
They’re set for big roles this season, and they’ll have to show they have what it takes to match up against Champions League sides as Mourinho hopes to take the side back to winning ways.
