Jose Mourinho has confirmed Manchester United could try and sign Gareth Bale from Real Madrid before the end of the summer transfer window.
He claimed if the Welshman plays for Real tomorrow it will mean he wants to stay, however, if Bale wants to leave, then he will try to sign him.
Mourinho previously told Bale in the tunnel before the clash against Real that he hadn’t been able to sign Bale this summer because the pair had not been able to talk.
Here’s what the Portuguese boss had to say in his press conference.

It’s clear Mourinho wants to secure his fourth signing before the window, especially with Inter Milan playing hardball for Ivan Perisic, and it seems like he could switch his attention to Bale.
We’ve been linked with him for so long, but it seems the Portuguese boss is finally putting his foot down and laying out the terms for his signing and it’ll be interesting to see what happens tomorrow and if he plays.
Bale would be an incredible signing at Old Trafford but there’s still a very slim chance that Real will actually allow him to leave the Bernabeu.
