Paris Saint-Germain defender, Serge Aurier, has agreed personal terms with Tottenham Hotspur, according to L’Equipe.
He has been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford this summer and Mauricio Pochettino will face competition to land his first summer signing.
The 24-year-old has attracted interest from Europe’s elite and is keen to make the move as PSG look to cash in on his services.
The French club were initially reluctant to sanction his exit but reports claim they have since accepted he will leave and are open to negotiating offers.
Although Chelsea entered the race earlier in the month, it seems they could miss out as L’Equipe state he has reached an agreement with Spurs over a summer switch to north London.
He is also allegedly in talks with Juventus and Inter Milan as he pushes to secure a move before the end of the summer window this summer.
Aurier is keeping his options open ahead of a busy summer and it seems like United could miss out as there are plenty of teams looking to secure his services.
Pochettino will be working hard to land the signing, but if Mourinho truly wants him at Old Trafford, Ed Woodward will be doing everything he can to get a deal over the line.
