Zlatan Ibrahimovic is set for a return at Manchester United this season as club officials have been left very impressed with his efforts to get fit again.
He will be coming back to resume his rehab from his knee operation very shortly and although he has been warned to tone down his training, has been full of energy as he’s determined to get back.
Everyone has been left delighted with his attitude to rehabilitation, but they want him to reach the right balance between rehab and recovery.
He’s sure he’ll come back on a new contract as the club want him ready to go once he’s fully fit, especially after he scored 28 goals last campaign before his season was ended prematurely.
Zlatan was remarkable at United, and combined with the likes of Romelu Lukaku and Marcus Rashford this season, should be a driving forced push United back to winning ways in the Champions League and Premier League.
Hopes are his recovery continues swiftly because he’ll be an important player at Old Trafford and if Jose Mourinho was right with his estimations of the Swede returning just after Chrismas, he’ll have time to tear it up and leave Manchester on a better note rather than being forced out with an injury.
