Tottenham defender Danny Rose is set for further talks over his future following interest from Manchester United, Chelsea and Internazionale, according to reports.
He has reportedly sat down with Spurs coach Mauricio Pochettino after his outburst in a newspaper interview questioning the club’s wage structure and transfer activity.
He also spoke about Jose Mourinho and the state of his squad at Old Trafford, highlighting his ambitions to play up North.
Rose is unlikely to be sold before next Thursday’s transfer deadline and he’ll need to smooth over things for the new campaign.
They are yet to make their first signing of the summer, however, Davinson Sanchez is expected to complete his move to White Hart Lane this week.
United had been monitoring Rose’s situation last month and were looking to make a bid but it seems Mourinho is set to put his faith in Luke Shaw and his rehabilitation.
It did seem like a transfer would take place, especially following his comments, but there isn’t long to get a deal over the line especially with chairman Daniel Levy, who has proven to be a very harsh negotiator in the past.
