Zlatan Ibrahimovic happy to play behind Romelu Lukaku at Manchester United – report

Zlatan Ibrahimovic will be happy to play behind Romelu Lukaku once he makes his return to Manchester United, according to reports.

He was released by the Old Trafford club earlier this summer after picking up a serious knee injury in the Europa League in April.

However, he has been working incredibly hard on his rehabilitation since then and is now expected to make a return just after Christmas.

Many thought the big Swede wouldn’t be able to deal with the intensity of football in England when he initially arrived, but after scoring 28 goals before his season was ended prematurely, it’s clear there is no task too big for Zlatan.

He has proven himself on the biggest stage and having him back at the club will be a huge boost on and off the pitch as he has an amazing presence in the dressing room.

Man United have already signed Romelu Lukaku from Everton, but Daily Mail claim Zlatan would be happy to play behind him as he’s enjoyed a great start to his United career, scoring four goals from his first three games.

He’ll be hoping to add to his tally once again once United go up against Leicester on Saturday afternoon (5.30pm).
