Henrikh Mkhitaryan – The Armenian has started this season in spectacular form and after initially struggling following his move from Borussia Dortmund last campaign, it’s great to see Jose Mourinho getting the best out of him. He has four assists from the opening two games of the new Premier League season and has a point to prove as he struggled to cement his place in the side previously. Mkhitaryan has so much potential at Old Trafford and I’m glad that he’s finally showing his true worth as many doubted Mourinho’s decision to buy him when he first arrived.
Romelu Lukaku – Once again, Lukaku was heavily criticised since his £75m move from Everton with many considering if he even had the talent to play in a United shirt, but the Belgian has proven he has what it takes to lead the line forward as they hope to challenge on different fronts. He’s scored 3 goals in the first 2 games of the season and if he can keep his tally up against Leicester City this weekend, will be able to show why Mourinho rates him so highly.
Paul Pogba – He’s been so influential this time round with 2 goals and 2 assists since the start of the new campaign and it seems the arrival of Nemanja Matic will allow him to become freer in his role. The Frenchman was often compared to his price tag last year and now he’s no longer the world’s most expensive player, should be able to continue doing what he does best, creating chances and scoring goals.
