Zlatan Ibrahimovic has confirmed his return at Manchester United, stating he’s back to finish what he has started.
The big Swede silenced critics last campaign after scoring 28 goals across all competitions before his season was ended prematurely and it seems he’s set on leaving Old Trafford the right way rather than being forced out with an injury.
He was ruled out until the new year after picking up an injury in the Europa League last campaign, however, after working incredibly hard, has been backed to return against Tottenham Hotspur on October 28.
Here’s what Ibrahimovic had to say about his return at Old Trafford.

“I am back to finish what I started,” he said.
“It was always mine and the club’s intention for me to stay. I cannot wait to get back out on that Old Trafford pitch, but I also know that I have to take my time to make sure that I am ready. I have been working hard and will continue to do so to make sure I am in the best possible condition for my return to the pitch.”
I can’t wait to see him back in a United shirt as it’s clear he’s still got what it takes to perform on the main stage.
Zlatan is one hell of a player and with him on side, the Portuguese boss has plenty of options this season as he hopes to take the squad back to winning ways.
