Paul Pogba has sent Manchester United supporters a message of gratitude after winning the ‘Player of the Month’ for August, claiming just over half of the votes.
The Frenchman, with a full pre-season under his belt, has made a bombastic start to the 2017/18 campaign, claiming two goals, an assist and two ‘Man of the Match’ awards.
He was also recently awarded with the ‘Goal of the Month’ award for August following his sumptuous strike during Man United’s 4-0 win over Swansea City.
And the 24-year-old has expressed his gratitude to the supporters who voted for him.

You won’t often hear this, but Pogba had a good first season at United. The expectations weighing on his head, mixed with the vitriolic treatment of expensive foreign imports, precluded the foundation of any meaningfully level-headed judgement of his performances.
And while the Pogba obsession, along with his world record price-tag, has now vanished over the summer, he would have known that something truly special was needed this season to stand out.
Three games later and we haven’t been disappointed. He has controlled games with deadly precision, providing a touch of grandiosity to every pass, touch and turn. The man is a pleasure to watch, no matter where your allegiances lie.
Supporters will hope this is merely the start of something special.
